An update on the Australia Government Shingrix program

Stock is currently extremely limited. We are still waiting on confirmation of how much we will receive for this coming month, but it will likely be very small amounts for the next few months.

We will start contacting eligible cohorts once we start receiving stock. Please wait to be notified by us.

A 2-dose course of Shingrix® will be available free for:

*people aged 65 years and over

*First Nations people aged 50 years and over, and

*immunocompromised people aged 18 years and over with certain medical conditions:

*haemopoietic stem cell transplant

*solid organ transplant

*haematological malignancy

*advanced or untreated HIV.

Note – if you have previously received a government funded shingles vaccination, you will be eligible to receive Shingrix 5 years post the original vaccination.
